So when I open/import a file into bookreader, is bookreader making an internal copy or is it actually touching/editing to the original file?
I would hope bookreader is leaving alone the original files and make copies so should anything bad happens to the database, the user still has the original files to reimport. Also, many apps give users an option to backup the database before a save or an update is done; that way a Revert is possible. Are you working well with Timemachine so user can roll back??
Please don’t be afraid for you local books copies, BookReader doesn’t change the original books. The recent problems were with the internal database only.
I have already fixed the problem with corrupted DB, so the user has only to put the books back on the BookShelf, that’s all.
